CTpass Program

Overview

CTpass is a new program, administered by CTDOT, that was created to support workforce development, as well as to increase access to employment, educational opportunities, and training programs using Connecticut’s bus public transportation system.

The program was created as a result of legislation introduced by Governor Lamont in 2022.

Executive branch State of Connecticut employees are eligible to participate in the CTpass Program to purchase 31-Day local bus passes at a 10% discount for use on CTtransit and CTfastrak services. CTtransit Express services are currently excluded. State employees will use the Token Transit app where qualified individuals can purchase their passes using their “ct.gov” or other approved executive branch domain work email address.
