Far below normal precipitation has caused a drought and increased fire danger levels. All of Connecticut is currently in a Stage 2 Drought Advisory. Residents are encouraged to be mindful of water consumption and use extra caution to prevent fires. An emergency burn ban remains in effect at all state parks, forests, and wildlife management areas, prohibiting the use of all outdoor grills, firepits, campfires, etc.

The eastbound direction of Station Place (from Washington Boulevard to Atlantic Street) is closed to through-traffic for demolition of the 1985 Parking Garage. Please follow the detour signs. The westbound direction is open to through-traffic.
Vehicular access to Metro Center Garage on Station Place is available from both directions.
Vehicular access to the passenger pick-up and drop-off area and taxi waiting area is provided from Atlantic Street.
Vehicular access to the 2004 Parking Garage is provided from Atlantic Street.
Pedestrian access between the 2004 Parking Garage and the station is provided via the pedestrian bridge on Level 4. Pedestrian access to Station Place is also provided via a temporary accessible route from Level 1.
The sidewalk along the station-side of Station Place is open to pedestrians between Washington Boulevard and Atlantic Street.
