Welcome to the webpage for Project No. 0173-0544 Installation of Centerline Rumble Strips on Route 123 (Smith Ridge Rd) and Route 124 (Oenoke Ridge Rd) in New Canaan.
A virtual public informational meeting for the project was held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
The project involves installing centerline rumble strips (CLRS) to reduce the number of roadway departures and head-on crashes.
Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated with this project. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026. The estimated cost for this project is approximately $13,000 with 100% state funds.
