Project 0141-0159

Welcome to the webpage for State Project No. 0141-0159, Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 03071 Carrying Route 193 over Interstate 395 in Thompson.

A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2026, at 6:00 pm. This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions. This meeting will take place on Zoom where a question and answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation, which will be recorded.

Originally constructed in 1965, this project will replace vital structural components of the existing bridge to extend its service life and improve safety for all roadway users. Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated.

Construction is expected to start spring 2029, depending on funding, possible future right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $6 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
