Welcome to the webpage for Project No. 0115-0124, Replacement of Bridge No. 04764 Carrying Chase Road over Cady Brook in Putnam.
An in-person public informational meeting for the project will be held on Tuesday, February 10, at the Putnam Municipal Complex located at 200 School Street at 5:00 p.m. The meeting location is ADA accessible.
This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions.
This project will replace the existing hydraulically deficient structure and provide a new resilient replacement structure that will increase the safety of all travelers.
Right-of-way impacts associated with this project will take place on private properties and will consist of temporary construction easement for access, grading, and water handling.
Construction is expected to start in 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is approximately $4 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
