Welcome to the webpage for State Project No. 0077-0247 Replacement of Bridge No. 04729 Atwoodville Road over Mount Hope River in Mansfield.
A virtual public informational meeting for the project was held on November 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The recording of that event can be accessed at the CTDOT Virtual Public Information Meeting Video Library.
Rights-of-way impacts associated with the proposed bridge replacement include drainage right-of-way easements on two properties, slope easements on three properties, guiderail easement on one property, and temporary construction easements for access roads along with rights to grade, reconstruction of driveways, and installation of sedimentation control system.
Construction is anticipated to begin spring 2027 based on the availability of funding, acquisition of rights of way, and approval of permit(s). The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $7.13 million. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
