Welcome to the webpage for State Project No. 0027-0130, the Replacement of Bridge No. 07013 Carrying Ben Merrill Road over Unnamed Brook in Clinton.
A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions.
Originally constructed in 2000, Bridge No. 07013, has exceeded its design life and will be replaced with a new structure in accordance with current design and safety standard. This project involves addressing existing issues by replacing the existing three culvert system with a concrete three-sided rigid frame.
Right-of-way impacts are anticipated to construct and accommodate the new structure. Construction is expected to start spring 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $4 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
