Pavement Profiling and GeoAnalytics

Under the Federal Highways (FHWA), State Planning and Research (SPR) Work Program, Task 2 - Roadway Information Systems, the Photolog Unit uses state-of-art automated data collection vehicles to collect high definition images and roadway condition, geometric and position data every 16.4 feet (5-meters) for the entire 8000 mile state-maintained roadway network,portions of the Local Roads network and on CTFastrak System in support of the FHWA Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS), and Federal Transit Authority (FTA) annual reporting.
