The Connecticut Department of Transportation's (CTDOT) is developing plans for the installation of a new fueling station on the site of the existing CTDOT’s Signs and Markings Facility at 9 Plainfield Pike Road in Plainfield, as depicted in the enclosed site design plan.
The purpose of this project is to support CTDOT’s Highway Maintenance Winter Operations. This project involves the installation of aboveground storage tanks and dispensers for gasoline, diesel, and diesel exhaust fluid.
The present schedule indicates that final design plans will be available in November 2024. The project will be 100 percent (100%) state funded.
It is CTDOT’s policy to keep the public informed when such projects are undertaken and important that the community share their concerns with CTDOT to assist in the project's development.
