The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that preliminary work including lane closures is scheduled to begin on August 10, 2020, (weather dependent) for the installation of traffic control signals in various towns. Work will be performed at various intersections in Cromwell, Manchester, South Windsor, Newington, Plainville, Southington and Wolcott at the following locations:

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a two-night scheduled ramp closure on I-84 westbound in Newtown at Exit 9, on August 10th and August 11th, 2020. The Exit 9 ramps will be closed each night, beginning at 9:00 PM, and will reopen at 5:00 AM the following morning. The closure and detour is necessary to facilitate construction/safety improvement activities. All work is weather permitting.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that continued preparations for final paving on the Merritt Parkway Improvement Project in Fairfield and Westport will require the nighttime closure of Exit 41 (on and off ramps) for pavement milling work, August 5 through August 7, 2020, from 6 PM to 6 AM, each day.
