The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Service Road 853 Derby/Ansonia (Division Street). Termini is Service Road 721 to Route 115.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a .39 mile of Service Road 853 Derby/Ansonia. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Friday, May 5, 2023 and be completed Saturday, May 6, 2023. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Thursday, May 11, 2023 and be completed on Friday, May 12, 2023.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).
