The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed North Haven and Hamden.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 6.01 miles of Route15 in North Haven/Hamden, and .08 miles of Service Road 725 North Haven. This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, May 10, 2023 through Thursday July 6, 2023.
The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 through Tuesday, May 30, 2023. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 through Thursday, July 6, 2023.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 from North Haven/Wallingford Town Line to Exit 60 off ramp (Dixwell Avenue) and on Service Road 725 North Haven from Route 22 Bishop Street to Colonial Drive. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning)
No work will be performed from 6:00 am Friday May 26, 2023, until 8:00 pm Tuesday May 30, 2023 due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
No work will be performed from 6:00 am Friday, June 30, 2023, until 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 5, 2023, due to the Independence Day Holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
