The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on Interstate 95 North and Southbound alternating lanes from the exit 17 on-ramp to the exit 24 off-ramp from Wednesday, July 19 through Wednesday, August 9, 2023. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, July 19 through Wednesday, August 9, 2023. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, July 19 through Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
This project is an addition in the CTDOT’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 Northbound from Exit 17 on-ramp (Saugatuck Ave.) to exit 24 off-ramp (Route 1) and Interstate 95 Southbound from exit 24 on-ramp (Route 1) to Exit 17 off-ramp (Saugatuck Ave.). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night through Monday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
