The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that Route 133 will be closed in Bridgewater beginning Tuesday, July 25 and be re-opened Tuesday, August 8, 2023, to help facilitate roadwork repairs. The project consists of repairing erosion due to flooding along Route 133 in the Bridgewater.

While Route 133 will be closed, traffic will be detoured from Tuesday, July 25 to Tuesday, August 8, 2023. The detour will route traffic along Route 133 to Route 67 through New Milford and follow Route 202/7 South to Route 25 in Brookfield and back to Route 133. The Roadway will be closed from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday – Friday. The roadway will be open to traffic after 4:00p.m. daily
