Ramp Closures for Milling and Paving Operations in Bozrah, Lebanon and Norwich

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that ramp closures for milling and paving work on Route 2 in Bozrah, Lebanon, and Norwich will begin on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

The project consists of milling and paving ultra-thin bonded PMA, and installation of pavement markings on Route 2 from Exit 22 to Exit 27.

DOT Project 172-500 was awarded to American Industries Inc. at a cost of $12,475,000.00 and is scheduled to be completed July 8, 2022. The project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.

 

     LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFO

Beginning on Wednesday May 4, 2022 there will be periodic ramp closures on Route 2 Eastbound and Westbound from Exit 22 to Exit 27.

Closures on Route 2 Eastbound and Westbound from Exit 22 to Exit 24 will take place from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Closures on Route 2 Eastbound and Westbound from Exit 25 to Exit 27 will take place from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

When traveling on Route 2 and a ramp is closed, the next exit can be used to turn around. Please follow posted detour signs.
