The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled ramp closures in Bozrah, Groton, Lebanon, and Norwich to facilitate pavement milling operations.
Ramp closures will occur on Route 2 with Exit 23 closed June 24th, Exits 24 and 25 closed June 23rd, Exit 27 closed June 25th, and Exit 6 on I-395 closed June 26th. Closures will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning. Weather conditions may require the closures move to the next day.
When traveling on Route 2 and I-395 and a ramp is closed, the next ramp can be used to turn around. Please follow posted detour signs.
The project consists of milling, resetting catch basin tops, surface patching, crack sealing, ultra-thin bonded PMA, and installation of pavement markings on Route 2 from Exit 23 to Exit 27, on I-395 from Exit 4 to Exit 9, and on I-95 from Exit 85 to Exit 89.
