Scheduled Closure and Detour of Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95 in Norwalk

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled short-term closure and detour of Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95 in Norwalk beginning Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 6 AM, until Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 3 AM. The closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a new water main associated with the rehabilitation of Bridge 00061 carrying Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95. The roadway at the intersection of Strawberry Hill Ave and Norden Place will be detoured for the duration of the closure, and the work is weather dependent.

DOT Project No. 102-363 was awarded to McNamee Construction Corp. at a cost of $8,129,273.35 on March 22, 2019, and is scheduled to be completed November 27, 2021.
