The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure and detour of Route 22 to facilitate ongoing work activities for the construction of a modern roundabout at Route 1 and Route 22 in Guilford, Branford and North Branford. The closure and detour will occur beginning at 6 PM on August 15, 2021, and will remain in place through August 20, 2021, at 6 AM.
Route 22 northbound traffic will be detoured via Route 1 to Route 139 to Route 80.
Route 22 southbound traffic will be detoured via Route 80 to Route 139 to Route 1.
