The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activities for the rehabilitation of Bridges 06884 and 06885 carrying Interstate 384 over Porter Brook in Manchester and Bolton will begin on or about March 22, 2021.
This project consists of constructing temporary access roads and staging areas, water handling, slip-lining pipe and jet grouting annular spaces, constructing headwalls and wingwalls, regrading existing stream bed material, and installing fisheries enhancements.
DOT Project No. 0076-0223 was awarded to Schultz Corporation, at a cost of $1,126,528.59 on February 18, 2021, and is scheduled to be completed October 15, 2021.
Lane Closure Information:
- I-384 eastbound and westbound will be impacted from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday and anytime Saturday and Sunday. Shoulder closures may be expected on Route 534 (Camp Meeting Road) and Finley Street between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
