The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled ramp closures to facilitate paving operations on I-395 in Montville and and Norwich.
Date of work and ramp closure location:
- Wednesday 10/7/2020 southbound Exit 13 and 14, 8PM to 6AM
- Thursday 10/8/2020 southbound exit 11 and 9, 8PM to 6AM
- Friday 10/9/2020 northbound exit 11 and 9, 8PM to 6AM
- Monday 10/12/2020 northbound exit 13, 14, and 18, 8PM to 6AM
Detour routes will be clearly marked with signage.
Detour Information:
- 395 NB exit 9 off ramp - Continue to NB exit 11, Take 395 SB to exit 9 continue to RTE 2A
- 395 SB exit 9 on ramp - Continue NB on 395 to exit 11. Take left on RTE 82. Take on ramp at RTE 82 SB on 395
- 395 NB Exit 11 off ramp closure - Take exit 9 of 395 NB to RTE 2A. Take exit 1 to rte 32 to rte 82
- 395 SB exit 11 off ramp closure - Follow 395 SB to exit 9 to rte 2A Take exit 1 left off the exit . Left onto rte 2A on ramp. Continue to 395 North to exit 11(RTE 82)
- 395 SB exit 13 off ramp closure - Take exit 14 off #95 SB. Take Wawecus Street to rte 2 EB on ramp
- 395 NB Ramp from rte 2 closure - Continue on rte 2 to Town st. Left on Town St. and continue to West Town St. On ramp on West Town St. to 395 NB
- 395 NB On Ramp from West Town St Closure - Take West Town St. to Wawecus St. to Rte 2 EB on ramp. Rte 2 EB exit 28N to 395 NB
- 395 SB on Ramp from West Town St closure - Take Wawecus St. to Rte 2 EB on Ramp. Take exit 28S to 395 SB
