The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge repair will be performed on I-95 north and south in New London and Waterford.
This work involves steel repairs to Bridge 00354 which carries Vauxhall Street Extension over I-95 north and south in New London and Waterford. This project is scheduled to take place from Monday, July 13, through Friday morning, August 14th, 2020.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect left lane closure on I-95 southbound and northbound in New London and Waterford including southbound between Exit 84 and Exit 82 (SR 623) and northbound between Exit 82 to South Frontage Road (SR 624). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 pm to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
