The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 514 in Enfield. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, June 2 and be completed on Wednesday, June 17 2026. The project DOT01710531CN G consists of milling and resurfacing a .20-mile segment of Route 514 in Enfield from Pearl Street to Route 5 (Enfield Street). This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading on Tuesday, June 2 to Wednesday June 3, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by Palmer Paving is anticipated to begin on Tuesday, June 16 to Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
This project is included in CTDOT’s 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 514 in Enfield from Pearl Street to Route 5 (Enfield Street) in Enfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday to Thursday.
