The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing construction activities will be performed related to the replacement of three bridges, Jude Lane, West Street, and Curtiss Street, over I-84 in Southington. These Geotechnical Subsurface investigations are scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 22 and be completed on Friday, February 20, 2026.
This project is being performed by EnviroConsultants & Recyclers, Inc.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on I-84 east and westbound at Exit 31 beginning on Thursday, January 22 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and be completed by Friday, February 20, 2026. Traffic control signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
