The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing ramp closures for full depth roadway reconstruction will be performed at I-91 northbound Exit 16 and Route 15 northbound Exit 64B to East Main Street in Meriden. These closures are continuous until May.
CTDOT Project No. 0079-0246 was awarded to O&G Industries at a cost of $185,000,000 on January 29, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed November 30, 2028. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
The ramps from I-91 northbound at Exit 16 and from Route 15 northbound at Exit 64B to East Main Street in Meriden will be closed continuously, starting Sunday, April 19, at 6:00 p.m. until May. Traffic will follow posted detours or advised to seek alternate routes.
Traffic control signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
