The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that bridge work will be performed on Bridge carrying I-95 northbound over the Mystic River in Groton between Exits 89 and 90. The repair is scheduled to occur 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, August 11 to 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2026. The repair will ensure the bridge remains safe for motorists.
The repairs will be performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be a right lane closure on Bridge carrying I-95 Northbound over the Mystic River from 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11 to 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Traffic control signing patterns and crash units will guide motorists through the work zone. The work zone is between Exits 89 and 90.
