The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that catch basin (scuppers) cleaning will be performed on I-95 north and south bound in New Haven, West Haven, Orange, Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield, Westport, Norwalk, Darien, Stamford, and Greenwich. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, October 26 and be completed on Friday, December 4, 2026. The project DOT01730554CN consists of cleaning out the catch basins (scuppers) on bridges.
This project is being performed by Latec LLC and State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on I-95 north and south bound in the above listed towns from Monday, October 26 to Friday, December 4, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m, Monday-Friday. No work will be performed around any state sanctioned holidays. Traffic control signing patterns and crash units will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
