The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge deck joint repair work will be performed on I-91 in New Haven. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, August 9 and be completed on Monday, September 21, 2026. This project ensures the bridges remain in a state of good repair.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on I-91 between Exit 3 and 6 in New Haven from Sunday night, August 9 to Monday, September 21, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns, truck mounted attenuators with arrow boards, and State Police will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
