The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that bridge deck repairs will be performed on Route 6 in Windham, Route 17A in Portland, and Route 95 in Old Lyme. This project is scheduled to start on Monday, June 29 and be completed on Monday, November 30, 2026. Project 0172-0548 consists of stripping bridge decks, patching concrete, installing new membrane waterproofing, and overlaying.
CTDOT Project No. 0172-0548 was awarded to Hammonasset Construction, LLC at a cost of $1,932,636.00 on April 29 and is scheduled to be completed November 30, 2026. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on Route 6, Route 17A, and Route 95 from Monday, June 29 to Monday, November 30, 2026, during various nighttime hours. Traffic control signing patterns, flaggers, and State Police will guide motorists through the work zone.
