The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that surveying operations will continue on I-95 in West Haven, between Exits 42 and 43. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, August 11 and be completed on Thursday, August 14, 2026.
The project 0156-0186 consists of the Construction of auxiliary lanes in both directions on I-95 between Exits 42 and 43 in West Haven to improve traffic operations and reduce congestion issues.
This project is being performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on I-95 in West Haven between Exits 42 and 43, Tuesday, August 11 to Thursday, August 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Traffic control, signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
