The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an attenuator install will be performed on I-84 westbound in East Hartford at Exit 54. This installation is scheduled to occur at night on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The project DOT_NONPROJECT D# D1-142 consists of attenuator repair.
This project is being performed by Atlas Industrial Services.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be overnight left lane and ramp closures on I-84 westbound in East Hartford at Exit 54 on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns, trailer mounted attenuators and State Troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
