The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that storm debris removal deposited in the river during the August 18, 2024, storm will take place on Route 73 between Main Street and Riverside Street in Watertown on Thursday, June 5 to Thursday, June 12, 2025.
This project is being performed by Contractor Forces.

Motorists can expect a minimal impact to traffic, only when trucks are leaving the site, however there will be sidewalk closures on the bridge. The work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
