Route 15 Merritt Parkway Pavement Resurfacing Exit 27 and Exit 33 in Greenwich

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing Route 15 Merritt Parkway Resurfacing project will take place on Route 15 Merritt Parkway between Exit 27 and Exit 33 in Greenwich. This project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 1 and expected to be completed in December 2025.

The Route 15 section mainline is scoped to include milling and then paving to maintain existing roadway elevations. The roadway will have an overlay that will extend the lifespan of the wearing surface. Specific curves along the mainline roadway will have a High Friction Surface Treatment to help reduce accidents in those areas. Ramps are included in the work and will require temporary detours during the work.

The work is being performed by Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc.

 

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 Merritt Parkway between Exit 27 and Exit 33 in Greenwich beginning on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The detour for the ramp closures will be posted. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
