The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing repairs on I-84 eastbound bridge over Route 72 in Plainville starting on Friday, July 18, 2025. This project is scheduled to occur Friday, July 18, 2025. This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair.
This project is being performed by Hartford Bridge Maintenance.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Multiple I-84 eastbound lanes along with the Crooked Street on-ramp will be closed starting Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19, 2025. The scheduled night work hours for this project are 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic control signage patterns will guide motorists through the work zone and detour.
