The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that State Route 434 will be opened to traffic starting on July 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. This project started on Thursday, April 10 and completed on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Project 0200-0047 consisted of stabilizing the existing retaining wall by installing gabion baskets and repairing the damaged parapet and roadway.
