Pavement Marking Installations in Greater Hartford

3/31/2025

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that pavement markings within the Greater Harford area. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, April 6 and be completed on Friday, November 7, 2025.The project DOT01703649CN and DOT01710507CN consists of pavement marking grooves, centerline rumble strips and epoxy pavement marking applications on center lines, shoulder lines and handwork on State Routes within the Greater Hartford area.

This project is being performed by Safety Markings Inc.

 

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be various lane closures from Sunday, April 6 to Friday, November 7, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on expressways. Traffic control signing patterns, cones and truck mounted attenuators will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. No work will be performed the day before or day after all State recognized holidays.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area. No work will be performed the day before or day after all State recognized holidays.
