The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that new light poles will be installed on I-95 north and southbound starting on Monday, July 14, 2025, between Exit 51 and 62 in East Haven, Branford, Guilford and Madison. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, July 14 and be completed on Friday, August 22, 2025. The non-project number consists of installing new light poles.
This project is being performed by Earthlight Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be left lane closures on I-95 from Exit 51 to 54 and right lane closure on Interstate 95, from Exit 54 to 62, from Monday, July 14 to Friday, August 22, 2025. Work hours are from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Work schedule is Monday night to Friday morning. Traffic control signing patterns, crash attenuator units will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
