Milling and Resurfacing on Route 113 in Stratford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 113 in Stratford. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, July 7 and be completed on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. The project DOT01730543CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.64-mile segment of Route 113 in Stratford from Route 1 (Barnum Avenue) to Route 110 (Main Street). This project is scheduled to begin milling by A & J Construction on Monday, July 7 to Saturday, July 12, 2025. The resurfacing segment of this project by Tilcon is anticipated to begin on Sunday, July 13 to Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

This project is included in CTDOT’s 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

 

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 113 from Route 1 (Barnum Avenue) to Route 110 (Main Street) in Stratford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night to Saturday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
