The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on the Shelton Commuter Lot off of Bridgeport Avenue. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, September 21 and be completed on Wednesday September 23, 2025. The project DOT01730543CN consists of milling and resurfacing the Shelton Commuter Lot off of Bridgeport Avenue. This project is scheduled to begin milling and paving by Tilcon on Sunday, September 21 to Wednesday September 23, 2025.
This project is included in CTDOT’s 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect closure of the Shelton Commuter Lot off of Bridgeport Avenue. Variable message sign boards will be posted at the commuter lot sight at least 72 hours before the closure of the lot. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night to Wednesday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
