The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed at the Connecticut Welcome Center off I-84 in Danbury. This project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, and be completed on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
This project is being performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
The weigh station will be closed during the duration of the project and the Welcome Center will remain open but will have limited parking. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
