The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that upgrading of existing chain link fence will be performed on Route 6 in Danbury from Saw Mill Road to Milestone Road. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday August 11, 2025, and be completed on Monday September 15, 2025. The project 0174-0474 consists of upgrading existing chain link fence systems to current standard systems.
This project is being performed by Atlas Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route 6 from Saw Mill Road to Milestone Road Monday, August 11 to Monday, September 15, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No work will be performed on the Labor Day Holiday. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
