The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that upgrades of existing guiderail will be performed on Route 168 (Mountain Road) from mile marker 0.00 to 1.048 and Service Road 585 (Babbs Road) from mile marker 0.000 to 1.250 in Suffield.
This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 16, 2025 and be completed on Monday June 30, 2025. Project 0170-3718 consists of upgrading existing guiderail systems to current standard systems.
This project is being performed by Eagle Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route 168 and Service Road 585 from June 16, 2025, to Monday June 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
