The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that upgrading of existing guiderail will be performed on Route 318 in Barkhamsted from mile marker 0.00 (New Hartford Road) to 1.175 (River Road). This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, April 14 and be completed on Monday, May 12, 2025. The project 0170-3718 consists of upgrading existing guiderail systems to current standard systems.
This project is being performed by Durham Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route 318 from Monday, April 14 to Monday, May 12, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No work will be performed on the Good Friday holiday. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
