The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that surveying operations will be performed on the Merritt Parkway in New Canaan between Exits 15 and 13.
This project is scheduled to occur the weekend of Saturday, January 10, 2026. The project 0089-0132PE consists of Bridge improvements for Bridge No. 05810 carrying Lapham Road and Bridge No. 05811 carrying Marvin Ridge Road, both over Route 15 in New Canaan.
This project is being performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on the Merritt Parkway in the north and southbound directions between Exits 15 and 13, the weekend of Saturday, January 10, 2026, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Traffic control, signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
