The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 73 (Watertown Avenue) in Waterbury starting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, April 23 and be completed on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. The project 0170-3718 consists of upgrading existing guiderail systems to current standard systems.
This project is being performed by Atlas Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route 73 from the Watertown town line to Kaynor Drive in Waterbury from Wednesday, April 23 to Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
