The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that upgrading of existing guiderail will be performed on Route 39 (Clapboard Ridge Road/Ball Pond Road) from the New Fairfield town line to Golden Heights Road in Danbury. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, May 12 and be completed on Tuesday June 17, 2025. The project 0174-0474 consists of upgrading existing guiderail systems to current standard systems.
This project is being performed by Atlas Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route 39 (Clapboard Ridge Road/Ball Pond Road) from Monday, May 12 to Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No work will be performed on the Memorial Day Holiday. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
