The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT is announcing that guiderail and attenuator upgrades will be performed on I-95 southbound at Exit 27A in Bridgeport. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday night, March 31 and Wednesday night April 2 and be completed on Thursday morning, April 3, 2025. The project DOT01730544CN consists of safety improvements to guiderail and attenuators.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
The I-95 Exit 27A southbound ramp will be closed from Monday night, March 31 to Tuesday morning, April 1, 2025, and then Wednesday night, April 2 to Thursday morning April 3, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to take I-95 southbound Exit 26, take left on Wordin Avenue, take a left onto the Exit 26 on-ramp to I-95 northbound, then get off I-95 Exit 27A northbound to Route 8 northbound. Traffic control signing patterns, state troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
