Epoxy Pavement Marking Project on Various Limited Non Limited Access Roadways in Eastern Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an epoxy pavement marking project will be performed on various limited/non-limited access roadways Eastern Connecticut. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday evening, April 1, 2025, and be completed on Monday morning, November 3, 2025. Project, No. DOT01703650CN consists of applying epoxy pavement-markings at the locations below.

This project is being performed by Safety Marking Inc.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

This moving operation will use the proper crash attenuator vehicles. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone as needed. One (1) state trooper will be used on the limited access roadways. Two (2) or more vendor’s vehicles with flashing arrows will be spaced behind the marking machine. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday evening – Saturday morning). Work will end at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 22, 2025, and will resume at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 27, 2025, due to the Memorial Day holiday. Work will end at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 3, 2025, and will resume at 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, July 7, 2025, due to the Fourth of July/Independence Day holiday. Work will end at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, August 28, 2025, and will resume at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, September 2, 2025, due to the Labor Day holiday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
