The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that roadway reconstruction will require the closure of the East Main Street on-ramp to Route 15 northbound, I-91 northbound, and I-691 westbound in Meriden. This work is scheduled to occur continuously starting Monday, December 1 and lasting several weeks, weather permitting.
CTDOT Project No. 0079-0246 was awarded to O&G Industries at a cost of $185,000,000 on January 29, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed November 30, 2028. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.

The on-ramp to Route 15 northbound, I-91 northbound, and I-691 westbound from East Main Street in Meriden will be closed continuously to all traffic starting Monday, December 1 and lasting several weeks, weather permitting. Traffic will follow the posted detour. Traffic control signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
