The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge joint work will be performed on I-84 East and West in Danbury on the following bridges listed below:
- 01182/01181 – I-84 over Housatonic Railroad near Still River
- 05307/05306 – I-84 over Milestone Road
- 05760 – I-84 over Saw Mill Road
The location of this work is the bridges from Exit 3 to the New York State Line both East and West. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, September 2 and be completed on Friday, October 10, 2025. This project ensures the bridges remain in a state of good repair.
This project is being performed by DSA (Dynamic Surface Applications).
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be left or right lane closures on I-84 East and West from Tuesday, September 2 to Friday, October 10, 2025, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns will be in place with State Police to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
