Wrong Way Driver Detection Installation: Route 8 Southbound at Exit 24 Ramp in Beacon Falls
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong way driver detection system will take place on Route 8 southbound at Exit 24 in Beacon Falls. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, April 9 with a rain date of Thursday, April 11, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Exit 24 of Route 8 south in Beacon Falls. Traffic will be detoured for the ramp closure as follows: Continue on Route 8 southbound to Exit 22 off-ramp, left at the bottom of the ramp. Make a left to get onto Route 8 northbound, then off at Exit 23 off-ramp. Take a right at the bottom of the ramp on Route 42.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
